this is why we live in az. it was 78 the other day. NICE! however i start to dread summer about this same time every year.

we have been playing outside a lot this past week. the other day ryan kept running in the house with this bucket and filling it up with water from the bathroom sink. i asked him what he was doing and he told me he was growing me some marigolds. i have no idea where he came up with marigolds, let alone even knows the word. he probably read it somewhere i guess. later he took some balls and rocks and put them right on top of the flowers and said he was "decorating" them for me.
after church on sunday, i was asking him what he learned in primary and he really didn't tell me much except that they made necklaces with pictures on them (this much i knew because i saw it around his neck). anyway i kept asking and didn't get much. that night our home teachers came over and they were asking him what he learned and he said "heavenly father and jesus made the earth and they made pretty flowers like roses that smell so good, and the rain, and our friends , and our families" i was almost in tears hearing about how much he learned, and remembered. today he was outside with darrel and he felt the wind and said "daddy did you feel that? heavenly father and jesus made the wind and all the beautiful things on earth." my little guy is growing up. i love that boy so much!
at the park with his friend kelsey. they play together so well.
doesn't she look so grown up!?! she walks around outside with this phone up to her ear and pretends to talk. it is the cutest thing! she absolutely loves being outside. you just mention it and she runs to the back door. i caught her the other day playing with the t ball set. she can actually hit the ball. and she loves riding the little quad we have. i just wish she would learn how to steer a little better.

she thinks that she can do everything her big brother does. she was trying so hard to climb these steps. she loves to climb. she can pretty much get up on all our furnitue now. i am surprised she hasn't figured out how to get out of her crib. i hope i didn't just jinx myself. she is such a sweet heart and i love her so much!

Cute kids! We miss you guys. I can't wait to get Carly together with Emily now that Carly is walking. I wonder how they will interact with each other. When are you going to come to Salt Lake again?
Cute pictures! We have been having nice weather also! Not 78, but about 70! It has been so nice. We went to the park yesterday, and Hannah loves it, she freaked out when we had to leave. She loves outside also. She points to the doors and says "side" "side". I still want to come this weekend so bad, but Dave says he has a presentation that he has to work on this weekend, but I told him he can do it at your house, because he never does it until after everyone goes to bed anyway. But he likes to be stubborn. He told us we could go without him, but I don't know. I am still working on him, and he keeps saying we will discuss it later, so who knows. I am sorry he can't make up his mind, so you could know whether or not we are. What day are your parents getting there? Ethan wants to come so bad. He keeps saying "Dad I have to go play with Ryan!"
