i was not planning on these being their easter pics, but i got too lazy on easter sunday to try to get their pics together again.
i wish i had more pics of ryan, but he refuses to smile a normal smile for the camera right now. but i do have a cute little story about him. the other day i was quizzing him on math problems (he loves it when i do this). i asked him what 2 x 6 was. he thought for a few seconds and said 12. i asked him how he figured it out. he said to me, "well, i think in my head 2 is 1, 4 is 2, 6 is 3, 8 is 4, 10 is 5, and 12 is 6." at first i had no idea what he was talking about, but after he repeated it, i got it. i asked him if dad had taught him to do that. he said, "no. i taught myself. sometimes at night when i can't sleep i just practice my multiplication tables, and try to figure out new problems." smarty pants! what is he going to be when he grows up?
