MY NEW BFF AND OTHER THINGS

as many of you, i have to sweep my floor a minimum of 3 times a day. it's not a hard thing to do, but just not one of my favorite things. but, ever since i got this super cute broom, sweeping has not been that bad. it actually makes me look forward to it just because i get to see my broom again (well, not really, but it really does make it an easier chore to do). this picture didn't turn out very well, but it is has pink giraffe spots all over it. pretty cute huh?

and speaking of pretty cute.... isn't she?!?! (if i do say so myself)

the other day when we parked the car at target, she kept saying she wants to sit in the
?something? basket. i was trying to figure it out, and finally had her show me what she meant. she was trying to say the "cool" basket. i must have called it that last time we went. she was meaning the one that has seats for the kiddos. all through target she kept saying "we're in the cool basket." funny how they pick up on that stuff. she comes up to me all day and says "mommy, i love you too much." she uses "too" instead of "so" on a regular basis. it's too cute.

so ryan had to take treats to preschool today, and i was asking him the other day what we should bring. i was just joking around with him and asked him if we should bring diet coke for the drink. as serious as he could be he said, "no mommy. diet coke is just a nice and tasty adult beverage." i have to idea where he came up with that. we never use the word beverage, so i guess he must have read it somewhere. he is also very concerned with eating healthy. he loves to read all the ingredients in everything he eats. if he thinks that something has too much sugar or salt, he usually won't eat it. yeah, i only wish i had that problem.
